Private Heli-Hiking

Private Heli-Hiking  trips are for adventurers looking for remote experiences that can only be offered by professional mountain guides. We use a helicopter to access pristine uncrowded alpine hiking areas.

Private Heli-Hiking trips are suitable for adventurous individuals, groups, and families looking for a personalised walking itinerary.

Our most popular Private Heli-Hiking trips are are bespoke single day helicopter accessed mountain hiking adventures in the remote and spectacular mountains areas of Queenstown, Mt Aspiring, Fiordland, and Mt Cook national parks. These areas offer opportunities to combine walking while viewing the South Islands most incredible mountain scenery. Have you ever stared up at the mountains from the valley floor and wondered what it would be like to be up there? This is your opportunity to immerse yourself in the mountain environment.

Climbing options are available for the adventurous including mountaineering, rock climbing, abseiling, glacier walking, and ice climbing. These can be single or multi day adventures.

Multi-day camping trips are possible for  adventurous individuals and groups looking for a true alpine experience. Imagine sleeping under a natural rock shelter in the incredible wilderness of the Darran Mountains.... and hearing the sound of waterfalls cascading down the mountainside, or the sound of ice breaking away from a hanging glacier and tumbling down a cliff face into the depths of the valley deep below.
