Queenstown Ice & Mixed Climbing Course

Ice climbing, snow, rock, and mixed climbing... the Remarkables range is New Zealand's best easily accessible winter mixed climbing location. Winter alpine climbing involves moving over ice, snow, and rock with crampons and ice axe.

On this 3 day course you will learn how to climb on all winter alpine terrain. This course is for people with previous climbing experience and participants should have rock climbing & belaying experience and be able to climb up to grade 18.

Each day of the course starts from Queenstown where we will pick you up from your accomodation and then drive up to the Remarkables. From here each day we will go into a different area of the Remarkables to climb. Areas that we climb in the Remarkables include the South face of Single Cone, the West face of the Remarkables, East Face of Single & Double Cone, and the alpine ridge lines of the Remarkables.
