Queenstown Rock Climbing - Guided Day Trip

Guided Queenstown rock climbing day trips at Wye Creek are a fun introduction to the sport of rock climbing and a great way to experience the classic rock climbing in the Queenstown area.

Queenstown rock climbing is known for its incredible scenery and good rock quality and Wye Creek is one of the most spectacular climbing areas in New Zealand.

Wye Creek offers a large variety of climbing styles and difficulties and there are climbing options for everyone from beginner through to advanced. The day starts with a short 20 minute hike up the scenic lower Wye Creek valley. We walk past waterfalls while looking at the views over the turquoise blue Lake Wakatipu with the mountains beyond.

Queenstown rock climbing day trips are privately guided & organised on demand. You can climb as an individual or come to us with your group. Queenstown Mountain Guides only use professionally qualified mountain guides that specialise in rock climbing so you can be assured of the highest level of expertise & safety.
